The event
Each year, this client seeks our services to fulfill his wildest ideas. In 2018, the theme was Harry Potter. The event was held at the Grand Quai in Montreal.
This grandiose space with its industrial look required a lot of love and decor so that we could truly immerse ourselves in the universe of wizards: Candles suspended from the entire ceiling, complete service team in Gryffin dor uniforms, flaming cocktail (which we called ”Liquid Chance”), living snakes and owls in terrarium, the menu also had a little nod to the movies, and more.
The star of the show, the food
The classic large table with large abundant dishes to share placed in the center of the tables. Exactly like in the dining hall of Hogwarts. Terrine of foie gras, piece of wild game served on the bone, trolley of sweets and colorful delicacies that cross the aisles, the “Vif d’or” with golden chocolate, etc…
This friendly formula allowed guests to feel like real sorcerer’s apprentices!
The squad rises to the challenge
As always, our brigade met many challenges brilliantly and ensured the presence of the guests despite the cold.
- Assembly of the room + Installation of candles and chandelier one by one over a very large area
- Production of 450 chocolate “Vif d’or”
